WELCOME This site is presented with in the hope of preserving the memories of our ancestors, many we know about, and many we will never know, because of records being destroyed by fire, flood, and other disasters. Without them, where would we be. They have made possible the way we live today. We owe them our gratitude and an interest in truly understanding their experiences.

Dear Ancestor Your tombstone stands among the rest, Neglected and alone. The names and dates are chiseled out, On polished marble stone. It reaches out to all who care, It is too late to mourn. You did not know that I exist. You died and I was born. Yet each of us are cells of you, In flesh, in blood, in bone. Our blood contracts and beats a pulse. Entirley not our own. Dear Ancestor, the place you filled, So many years ago. Spread out among the ones you left, Who would have loved you so. I wondered if you lived and loved, I wonder if you knew, That someday I would find this spot. And come to visit you.
